Success Stories
Our team developed and managed a full-scale advocacy campaign on behalf of a tribal government, including opposition research, grassroots efforts, and public and media relations. Members of our team pitched stories to the media and served as media spokespersons. We also coordinated a paid advertising campaign through outside consultants. Despite facing considerable opposition, we prevailed on behalf of our client to defeat a proposal for a competing casino.
Waukesha, Wisconsin was the first community outside the Great Lakes basin to apply for water under the Great Lakes Compact. Our team oversaw the city’s communications and framed the complex issue for the public, governmental stakeholders and the media. The city won unanimous approval by all eight Great Lakes states, with input from two Canadian provinces, to use and return water to Lake Michigan.
